• 研究関心：これまで、現代政治学、政治心理学、世論研究の分野において研究を行ってきました。特に「民主主義下における市民の意見の代表メカニズム」を巡るテーマに関心を持っています。具体的には、メディアの報道内容報道が政治意見、政治参加に与える影響、政治知識・政治的洗練度の測定方法や決定要因、そして政治行動・意見の形成プロセスなどです。統計手法や実験、数理モデルなど、多様なアプローチを用いて多角的に世論・政治行動の姿を明らかにしようとしています。現在は、低情報下の政治行動を説明する要因、また政治情報量・教育や情報環境・アイデンティティが政治行動・態度の形成に与える影響に注目して研究を行っています。
